Adriano del sal
Adriano Del Sal, born in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Udine), began studying the guitar under the guidance of Stefano Viola at the “Jacopo Tomadini” Conservatory in Udine where he graduated with Guido Fichtner, achieving top marks and honours. Adriano is the winner of many competitions such as “Benvenuto Terzi” in Bergamo, “Nicola Fago” in Taranto, “Castelnuovo Tedesco” in Parma, Ragusa, Isernia, Jaen (Spain). Winning the “Julian Arcas” international competition in Almeria (Spain) gave him the opportunity to record his first solo CD for RTVE (Radio Television Espanola). In 2003 he received the prestigious "La Chitara d'oro" award as the best young concert performer of the year at an international level. Adriano Del Sal has an intense concert career with major international festivals in Italy, Spain, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Montegro, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Russia, South Korea, Canada. He also performed J.Rodrigo's “Concierto de Aranjuez” in the hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic and represented the Friuli Venezia-Giulia Region in Ukraine, playing in the prestigious “Sala delle Colonne” of the Kiev Philharmonic. Adriano is often invited as a jury member in important international competitions and holds masterclasses at various musical institutions and guitar festivals. Since 2015 he has been Professor at Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien - Austria.
